🙂 = They have booster/highchairs. Changing space is available in women’s restroom. There is a large patio space outside with fans. Separate take out restaurant next door with barstool seating. There are places to sit/stand to eat outside. They give kids pizza dough to play with and coloring sheet with crayons. They also give little sweet tarts as a treat when they bring you the check. Restaurant is located along a fun strip on S. Congress with plenty of stores to visit before/after eating. Kids drinks come in a fun cup with a lid (we love lids!).

🙁 = Parking is difficult unless you are one of the few lucky ones to get a spot right next to the restaurant.  Restaurant space can feel a little cramped. No actual kids menu, but you can get a slice of pizza cut twice or order a side of meatballs with marinara that could be substituted as a kid’s meal.

Love the huge outside patio!

Lunch with Daddy in Downtown is always a blast, but it’s even better with pizza!  So, for lunch one nice afternoon, we met Daddy at Home Slice Pizza in South Congress (SoCo).  We had to walk a little from our parking spot, but it wasn’t too bad because there were lots of little shops along the way to window shop.  When we got in, we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress brought me a coloring book and crayons right away. She even brought me a ball of pizza dough to play with, which I thought was cool! I got to roll it and stretch it and even though it wasn’t yummy, I even tasted a little of it… hehe, don’t tell Mommy.

Playing with pizza dough!

It was right in the middle of lunch time, so there were lots of people. The space was snug and cozy, but Dad said it made things a little more exciting. Maybe that’s why the pizza tasted soooo good. Mom ordered the “pedderomi”(pepperoni) pizza for me, the white pie with spinach pizza for her, and the sausage and garlic pizza for Daddy! They were all delicious, but my favorite is always pedderomi! It wasn’t too hot and the crust was crunchy-good. Next time we come, Mom says she wants to try one of their subs or calzones! Or maybe even the Sicilian deep dish if we’re REALLY hungry. Here’s the best part… after we ate our pizza, they brought us sweet tarts candies as a treat! Pizza and candy…  ooh, I was in heaven! Do you want to join me next time? It’s yummy and cheap – I’m sure you’ll love it!!
