🙂 = There are plenty of high chairs available and they also have the stands for infant car seats. Clean changing table in the women’s bathroom, but didn’t see one in the men’s room. A great kid’s menu that includes a scoop of gelato! They bring pizza dough, sauce, and cheese for the kids to make their own pizza while waiting for the food and then they cook it! Delicious food and a fun, polite staff.
🙁 = Lunchtime got really busy and we were a little cramped at our table. Our suggestion for families it to maybe request a booth for more space.
Notes: The restaurant’s hours are Monday – Thursday, 11:00 to 10:00; Friday & Saturday 11:00 to 11:00; and Sunday 11:00 to 9:30.
When you first walk into Napa Flats, you’ll notice the gelato and dessert case…and you’ll think about it for the rest of your meal! As we were seated, the sweet server brought all of us kids a plate with pizza dough and some toppings. She told us that we could flatten the dough into a circle and make our own pizzas for the chefs to cook for us! We all had a great time with that, and our moms were happy that we were occupied- it was a win/win.
The kid’s menu has some pretty good selections that include cheese or pepperoni pizza, cheese ravioli, chicken with broccoli, and spaghetti with meatballs. My friends and I each tried something different and all liked what we got! I decided on the chicken with broccoli because I ended up eating the pizza that I made. Mommy and her friends all enjoyed their lunches too! The lunch menu has a lot to choose from: salads, pizzas, sandwiches and paninis, and pasta. Mommy’s friend ordered a pizza with truffle oil and dates and said it was really good! Mommy saw some people eating the paninis and said she’s definitely going to try one of them next time.
After we finished eating out lunch, our server asked which flavor gelato we would like. All of our moms excitedly picked Nutella flavor and we ended up being very happy with that decision. It tasted just like the stuff mommy eats by the spoonful!
Napa Flats was a great place to meet our friends for lunch, but next time we will ask for different seating. We were right in the middle of the restaurant and we didn’t have much room. Arriving early was a good idea though, because it got really busy after we got there! We are really glad that it was so kid-welcoming because we will be back to try more yummy food! Thanks for having us Napa Flats!
