🙁 = Kids menu, high chairs, and they even had crayons and coloring pages available! VERY accommodating staff that ensured we were very comfortable during our dinner and that all my toddler needs were met and accounted for. Yummy food!

🙁 = No changing tables. Can get a little busy during the dinner rush. The ambiance is geared towards a more mature patron. The space is also a bit cramped – just an FYI for my toddler-foodies-in-training, who may still chill in their car seat while the parents enjoy dinner. It is a bit pricey, but this place is geared towards fine dining.

Notes: Great place to dine before or after a show at the Majestic Theatre. It’s right across the street. There is limited street parking. The closest parking garage is the Mid-City/Houston Street Parking Garage, which is located on the corner of College Street and Navarro, across from La Mansion Hotel.

Hours: Lunch: Monday – Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Dinner: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday, 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, and Sunday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Mommy and Daddy surprised me with a trip to the Majestic Theatre to see Beauty and the Beast! If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I am a Disney FANATIC. So, this was a BIG treat! I got to dress up as Belle, sing along to all my favorite songs, and clap my hands to the amazing musical numbers. It.was.the.best.day.ever. #totes

I’m loving this kids’ menu!

So, how were they going to top off this fabulous evening?? With a trip to The Palm, of course! The Palm is located directly across the street was the Majestic. So, it was a quick walk over, and after viewing their menu, we decided that this was the place for us. (All mommy cared about was Lobster Bisque… they had it, and mommy gets want mommy wants… At least that’s what daddy says anyway… )

Fancy Dining for this Toddler Foodie!

When we walked in, I knew that this place was a little different than any of the other places we’ve ventured. There were white tablecloths on every table. Utensils weren’t bundle together and wrapped in paper napkins. There were candles lit throughout the place… It was just FANCY… which meant one thing: ”please-don’t-break-anything-please”… I think my parents were on high alert as to how receptive staff would be to a toddler dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and to our surprise, they were WONDERFUL! Our server found some crayons and a coloring sheet with Ariel from the Little Mermaid. Even more, he handed us a kids’ menu and made sure to bring my milk in a Styrofoam cup WITH a lid.

Crab Cakes, Brussel Sprouts, and Pasta, oh my!

When it came to ordering, there were several options to choose from on the kids’ menu, and I went with pasta with marinara. (The kids’ menu itself is very basic.) From the regular dinner menu, my daddy ordered the 24 oz Bone-In Ribeye with the Three Cheese Potatoes Au-Gratin, and mommy ordered the Jumbo Lump Crabcakes with a side of Brussels Sprouts cooked with shallots and lemon zest. (The sides are a la carte. Also, a basket of bread and cool bread sticks come before the meals arrive.) ALL the food was delicious! The only qualm we had was that daddy’s steak was slightly burnt, but once this was mentioned to our server, he made sure that all things were made right. (Talk about customer service!) We ended the night with Carrot Cake and Crème Brulee. YUMMO! ::drool::

Palm Steak

Now, THAT’S steak!

It was the perfect day. Disney + Delicious Food. Thank you, Palm, for welcoming a toddler foodie like me! Your customer service made us feel received and wanted, and we will definitely be back!
